Culture Works Performances of Dayton Ballet, Dayton Opera and Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra are made possible in part by Culture Works, which raises funds through workplace giving. Culture Works also supports many other arts and cultural organizations throughout the Miami Valley.
Dayton Philharmonic Volunteer Association The Dayton Philharmonic Volunteer Association was created in 1952 with an ongoing mission to support the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra in the areas of education, promotion, fundraising and membership development.
Friends of the Dayton Ballet, Opera and Philharmonic Fund The Friends of the Dayton Ballet, Opera and Philharmonic Fund of The Dayton Foundation provided support through the Nonprofit Alliance Support Program to ease the transition of the Dayton Ballet, Dayton Opera and Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra into the Dayton Performing Arts Alliance, a first-in-the-nation merger of three performing arts groups.
Virginia W. Kettering Foundation The Virginia W. Kettering Foundation provides support that is vitally important to both the overall organization and the continuation of artistic productions that enrich lives. Its primary areas of community support include Arts, Culture and Humanities, Education, Environment, Health/Medical, and Human Services.
Montgomery County Arts and Cultural District The Montgomery County Arts and Cultural District is a special-purpose unit of government created under Ohio law to provide support to arts and cultural organizations and individual artists within Montgomery County, Ohio. The District currently receives $1 million annually in county sales tax revenue that is dedicated to supporting the arts and cultural heritage of Montgomery County.
Music Alive Program For fourteen years the League of American Orchestras and New Music USA have joined in partnership through the Music Alive Program to support unique and meaningful composer residencies in the concert halls and communities of orchestras throughout the country. With the generous ongoing support of the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, the Aaron Copland Fund for Music, the ASCAP Foundation, and the Francis Goelet Charitable Lead Trusts, this residency program has evolved into an entirely unique and groundbreaking multi-year collaboration between orchestras and composers.
Ohio Arts Council The Ohio Arts Council helps fund the Dayton Performing Arts Alliance with state tax dollars to encourage economic growth, educational excellence and cultural enrichment for all Ohioans.
Opera Guild of Dayton The Opera Guild of Dayton was founded in 1963. Its mission is to encourage and promote opera in the Greater Dayton area and to support Dayton Opera through fundraising, marketing and education activities.
Miriam Rosenthal Foundation for the Arts The Miriam Rosenthal Foundation for the Arts, established to honor Miriam Rosenthal, a tireless advocate for the arts in Dayton, has enriched the region's cultural offerings for 49 years. The Foundation continues to accept contributions that will enable the Fund to secure a financial future for all of the arts in our community.
