The 2017–2018 The Great Ones Season for the Dayton Philharmonic Rockin’ Orchestra Series will rekindle, or perhaps spark, new appreciation for some tried-and-true favorites from the world of rock ’n’ roll. The season kicks off in grand style in September when the DPO colors the stage purple to pay tribute to the King of Shade with The Music of Prince. In November, back by popular demand, Michael Cavanaugh returns for The Music of Elton John. The New Year brings a visit from the imaginative Ziggy Stardust and a touch of glam rock when David Brighton joins us for the music of David Bowie. Guest rock ensemble Windborne returns twice in 2018 to bring the music of two legendary bands to the Schuster Center with The Music of Led Zeppelin and The Music of U2. Dayton favorite Jeans ’n Classics returns in May to bring the curtain down on the Rockin' Orchestra series with a mind-blowing performance of the classic rock opera The Who's Tommy in Concert! Don’t miss a single event of this thrilling season!

Remember that when you subscribe to the Rockin’ Orchestra 6 Package, you are getting a FREE CONCERT when compared with buying single tickets (which have higher prices and added ticketing fees).
